Fire Auxiliary

The Garden Valley Fire Protection District (GVFPD) Auxiliary is registered a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our local Fire Protection District and Emergency Medical Service. 

The Auxiliary provides food and logistical support during extended emergency incidents, trainings and other significant community events. We also assist in coordinating and promoting fire and EMS-related activities throughout Garden Valley.

Through fundraising efforts, the Auxiliary helps supplement critical needs of our volunteer fire department and EMTs. Our efforts support:

• Essential medical supplies and equipment
• Training and continuing education
• Community outreach initiatives
• The Burn-Out Fund
• Family Emergency Supply Boxes

Meetings:  Auxiliary meetings are held at the Fire House on the second Monday of each month at 5:30-6:30 pm.
